Richard Henwood
1946-2014
Richard John Henwood, 68, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Islington, England, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Lily Rose (Houseman) Henwood. Richard retired from Canada Post as a mail handler after thirty-three years of service and enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of forty-three years Carol (Capson); children Susan Henwood of BC, Crystal Wolfe (Dale) of Riverview, and Kelly (Julie) of Salisbury; cherished grandchildren Tanner, Connor, Alyson, Madison, Cole and Lily; brothers Michael (Ruth), Mark, Merrill (Marjorie) and Lee; sisters Starr Holmden and Lynn Thebeau; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Russell and Darrell.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Saturday, November 15 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.
