Charles Edgar
1941-2014
Charles Murdoch Edgar, 73, of Plaster Rock and formerly Middlesex passed away September 2, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Canaan Station he was a son of the late Charles and Edith (Hicks) Edgar. A carpenter he was a member of the Pentecostal Family Worship Center in Plaster Rock. Known to his family as "Pawsy" he enjoyed camping, going out on his all terrain vehicle and time spent with his family.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years Julia nee Horsman; his children Debbie Goodine (Steven) and Wendy Lewis (Rex) of Middlesex, Dennis (Cindy) of Middle Arm, NF, Charles Jr. (Brenda) of Salisbury and James of Moncton; his sisters Carol DeForest and Linda Steeves (George) of Plaster Rock; brothers Harold (Dale) of Havelock, Richard and Reginald (Lynn) of River Glade, Leslie (Connie) of Aulac and by 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Glen and his wife Opal and a grandson Randy Edgar.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday September 4 from 6-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Friday at 12 noon with Pastor Daniel McKillop officiating. Interment at the Middlesex Community Cemetery.
