Donna Steeves

It is with sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Donna Marlene Steeves on May 2, 2024 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre surrounded by her family. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Dorothy (Spears) Gogan.

Donna was a long time member of the Second North River Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking and caring for her family, her bowling league, reading and helping out on the family farm.

Donna is survived by her children: Heather Snyder (Rick), Kevin Steeves (Suzanne) and Brent Steeves (Audra); a close nephew Lance Gogan (Vanessa) and their children Oliver and Taylor; her brothers: Alan and Daniel Gogan; her sister, Rhea Wilkins (late Les) and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Garnet Steeves; her brothers, James, Gary and David Gogan and her sister Dorothy Fanjoy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where visitation will be held on Monday May 6 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A Funeral will be held Tuesday May 7 from the funeral home chapel at 11:00am  with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family wish to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Rick Morton and staff at the Jordan Lifecare Center for the wonderful care and compassion shown our Mom during her nine years as a resident.
