Barbara Brooks

   Barbara Ann Brooks, 72, of Riverview, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Veinot) Warren.

   Barb worked with the Federal Government for many years in the DSS Super Annuation Department. She was a member of the local bowling leagues, and loved her four Corgis.

    Barb is survived and sadly missed by her partner Michael MacDonald; son Doug Stoakley (Susan MacIsaac); daughters Carol Murphy and Emma Kathleen Chisholm; several grandchildren; sisters Linda Corbett (Billy), Heather Heinz and Bev Englund; many nieces and nephews.

   Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by her husband, David Brooks; sister Joan Oaks.

   There will be no services by Barb's request. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).

   Private interment in Salem Community Cemetery, Havelock, at a later date.
