Adam Otto Steeves

   Adam Otto Steeves, formerly of Steeves Settlement, NB passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre. Born in Steeves Settlement, he was the son of the late Nathaniel and Ina (Bannister) Steeves. Adam was a retired employee of Canada Cement Lafarge, and a Deacon of the Steeves Settlement United Baptist Church.

   Survived and sadly missed by his two daughters, Dianna (The late Victor Armes) of Fawcett Hill, and Betty (Dale Ward) of Salisbury; three sons, Billy (Marie) of Caissie Cape, Robert (Debbie) of Fawcett Hill, and Andrew of Ontario; nine grandchildren, Bonnie, Sheldon, Stacey, Susan, Robbie, Trevor, Tyler, Ashley and Shannon; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Erma Thorburn; and many nieces and nephews.

   Besides his parents, Adam was predeceased by his wife, Ruth; two grandsons, Todd Buchanan and Kevin Haevens; four sisters, Byrd, Violet, Hazel and Arleen; and six brothers, Seymour, Reginald, Dawson, Murl, Ralph and George.

   Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) from where visiting will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6 - 9 pm. Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1 pm with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating. Interment to follow at Steeves Settlement Cemetery.
