June Benjamin
1934-2018
June Elizabeth Benjamin, 84, of Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Reynolds) Benjamin. June's occupation was nursing home care. She loved yard sales, fishing, camping, clamming, family functions and card parties.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Welton (Ken), Nappan, Patricia O'Blenis, Scott Road; sons Bruce Lines (Louise), Maccan, Kevin Lines (Marion), Scott Road; brother Lawrence (Buddy) Benjamin (Audrey), Miramichi; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Eileen MacKenzie, Jean Chappel, Rita Benjamin, Ola Doncaster and Etta Dickson; brother Ronald Benjamin and son-in-law Tony O'Blenis.
The family wish to extend special thanks to all the staff at Westford Nursing Home.
There will be no visitation or service by request. Interment at Amherst Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
