Joan Freda Steeves
1934-2018
Joan Freda Steeves, 83, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cynthie (Blakney) Alward and widow of Fred Steeves.
Joan is survived by her son, Kevin Steeves (Heather); grandchildren, Michael Steeves (Mary), Ashley Steeves, Matthew Steeves and Julie Barrieau; sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Gallant; brother, Roger Alward; several nieces and nephews, and her good friend Betty Arsenault.
Besides her parents and husband, Joan was predeceased by her son, Ronald and her brothers, Raymond, Clinton, William, Wayne and David
A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:30 am at Five Points Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rte 106 Salisbury (372-4800).
