Linda Lillian Powers

  Linda Lillian Powers, 58, of Little River passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in New Glasgow, NS, she was the daughter of the late Rev. J.W. and Lillian (Johnston) Doohan.  Linda was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and was the office manager at the Salisbury Hardware Store.  She enjoyed cooking for the holidays and loved spending time with her family.

  She is survived and sadly missed by her loving husband Mark; children Mark Jr (Andrea), Little River, Bradley (Missy), Moncton, Ronald (Megan), Alberta, Mary Lyons (Kevin), Moncton, David (Brandy Herrington), Moncton and Judi Ferris (Zack), Salisbury; sister Judi Cormier (Roger), Fredericton; brothers John Doohan (Ruth), Belleisle Creek, Doug Doohan (Wanda), Ohio and Pat Doohan (Joanne), PEI; sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

  Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) visiting will be Thursday, September 28th from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 8:30 pm.  The funeral will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street in Moncton, on Friday, September 29th at 10am.  Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Leaman Hill.
