Ronald Carr

 It is with sadness that the family of Ronald Garnett Carr, 80, of River Glade announce his passing on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born November 4th, 1936 in Harewood, NB to the late John and Lena (Rogers) Carr, Ronald was a heavy equipment operator for Carson’s & Modern Construction.  He found joy in his woodwork, gardening, hunting and fishing and passed on a great love of the outdoors to his children.

  He is survived and will be greatly missed by his best friend and companion of 22 years, Sharon McHugh; his daughters Kimberly Carr (Charles Cable), Miramichi, Karla Carr, Moncton, Cindy Connolly (Chris), Hubbards NS, Molly Knorr (Bill), Westfield, Susan McFarlane (Rod), Hampton; son Michael McHugh (Jill), Lincoln; sister Hope Malloy (Gary), Killiam Mills; brother Everett Carr (Joyce), Salisbury; brother-in-law Skip Keith, River Galde; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews of which he held a special relationship with. He was predeceased by 2 sons Ross Carr, Faron Carr; brothers Alfred, Elmer, Leo, Wilmer, Paul; sister Hilda and brother-in-law Joe Gallant. 

    Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800), from where his Funeral service will be held Wednesday June 7th at 11am with Rev. Kevin Carr officiating.  

  If desired memorials to the Heart and Stroke or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
