Marion Robinson Marion Robinson

  Marion Elsie Robinson, 85, of Petitcodiac passed away peacefully Sunday, December  4, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Vera (Geldart) Crandall.  Marion was a retired banker, a member of the St. James United Church and the UCW.  She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Petitcodiac for 21 years and a graduate of the Petitcodiac Regional High School.  She loved spending time with her family and in later years with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

  She is survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years Irvin; children Beatrice Meyer (Alfy), Ann Bourque (late Robert), Mary Jean McCannell (Bruce), Cynthia Robinson (Carl Morris) and Gail Tully (Mark); daughter-in-law Libby; brother William (Billy) (Norma) Crandall; brother-in-law Roy Hayward; sister-in-law Jean McGillivray; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by son David; brother Sydney and sister Edith Devereaux (late Dev); brothers-in-law Stewart Robinson and Scott McGillivray and sister-in-law Myrtle Hayward.

  Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street (756-3361) with visiting Tuesday, December 6 from 3 to 6 pm.  The funeral will be held at St. James United Church Wednesday, December 7 at 1 pm with Rev. Stephen Brown officiating.  Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

  If desired, memorials to the Jordan LifeCare Centre or St. James United Church would be appreciated by the family.
