Donna Blakney
1946-2016
Donna Kathleen Blakney, 70, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Sunny Brae, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Hilda (Leaman) Blakney. Donna was a caregiver with the Havelock Boys & Girls Club and she enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, being with family and friends, but most of all loved spoiling her granddaughter.
Survived and sadly missed by her daughter Pam Beaulieu (Elvis) of Salisbury; granddaughter Tiffany Beaulieu; brothers Ronald Blakney (June) of Mississauga,ON and Gerald Blakney (Edna) of Cherryvale; common-law spouse Chester Cox of The Glades and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Alvin and Michael Blakney.
There is no visiting by request. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 23, 2 pm at Five Points Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800).
