Gerald Douthwright
1965-2016
Gerald Russell Douthwright, 50, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gerald and Mamie (Steeves) Douthwright. Gerald was a truck driver with Midland transportation where he had worked for many years. A member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Salisbury he enjoyed four wheeling, gardening and spending time with Barbara.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of nineteen years Barbara (Rayner); sisters Heather Rayner (Lee) of Alberton P.E., Robin Parent of Hamilton ON and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Catherine Douthwright.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Friday, February 12 from 11 am until time of service at 12 pm in the chapel with Rev. Mark Morehouse officiating. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Gerald, donations to the Diabetic Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
