Shirley Marr
1931-2012
Shirley Catherine Marr, 81, of Petitcodiac, passed away March 30, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Corn Hill, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Dunfield) Robinson. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church. She enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles, talking and social events with her friends at Kodiak Place, but family was most important to her.
Shirley is survived and missed by her daughter Cathy Dunfield (Arland) of Corn Hill; son Michael (Ruby) of Brookfield, NS; grandchildren Sarah Carson (Tim), Brent & Brian Dunfield and Melissa Marr (Aruna); great granddaughter Emmalin; sisters Jean Black of Salisbury West and Ruby Lockhart (late Donald) of Petitcodiac; brother Frank Robinson (Audrey) of Moncton; special friend Lillian Lewis of Petitcodiac and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Glendon and brother Murray Robinson.
There will be no visitation by personal request. The funeral will be held from Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Monday, April 2 at 2 pm with Pastor James Hannah officiating. Interment will be at the Corn Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
