Warren Corey
1925-2011
Warren Allan Corey, 86, of the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Havelock, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Canaan Forks, he was a son of the late Nase and Cora (Kierstead) Corey. Warren was a farmer, truck driver and a World War II veteran. He was a dedicated member of the Havelock Wesleyan Church and Warren had a deep and abiding faith in his Lord and Saviour.
He is
survived by his loving wife of sixty three years Marguerite (Alward);
his sons Bill (Phyllis) of Havelock and Lee (Jane) of Fredericton; his
cherished grandchildren Christopher, Tammy Dryden (Tim), Melissa,
Michael, Emily, David and Jack and a very special great granddaughter
MacKenzie. Warren is also survived
by brothers Willis (Helen) of Moncton, Mac (Pat) of Moncton and Fred
(Carlotta) of Petitcodiac; sisters
Lois Moss (Stan) of Havelock and Flossie Hebert of Dieppe; sister in
law Shirley of Aylmer, ON and several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by great
grandson Skylar; brothers Marion and Earl, sister in law Dorothy and
brother in law Fabby Hebert.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, September 15 from 4 - 8 pm and from where the funeral will be held Friday, September 16 at 2 pm with Pastor Jacob Ebbett officiating. Interment to follow at the Butternut Ridge Wesleyan Cemetery.
In memory of Warren, if desired, memorials to the Wesleyan Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
