Gerald Smith
1940-2026
Gerald Joseph Smith, 86, of Glen Levit, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Moncton City Hospital. Born March 1,1940, in Oliver Siding, NB, he was the son of the late Hughie and Mina (Doiron) Smith.
Gerald leaves behind seven children: Stacey (Goudreau) Moores, Gerard Goudreau, Deanna (Goudreau) Brantnall, Gerald Goudreau, Kimbal, Deborah and Terry; Eleven grandchildren: Nikita, Sydney, Jake, Kailem, Merick, William, Robert, Justin, Kyle, Terrell and Dakota; One Great Grandchild: Elliot.
Gerald is survived by five siblings: Christine Ward, Susan Kierstead, Angela, Marliegh and Ian.
Gerald was predeceased by four siblings: Catherine Gallie, Duncan, Billy, and Jean Adams.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. No services will be held at this time. Gerald will be buried in the United Church Cemetery, Glen Levit, NB.
