Valerie Harper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valerie Jean Harper on June 4, 2026, at the Moncton Hospital.

Valerie was born on February 7, 1957 in Lewis Mountain, NB to Gladys (Vaughan) and Everett Rogers. She met her loving husband, Ronald Harper, in Anagance and that is where they settled down and started raising their family.

Valerie was an avid reader and gardener, and loved being outdoors. She played a monumental role in her grandchildren's lives and will be sorely missed by them and all who knew her. Her stoic steadfastness was unwavering.

Valerie will be sadly missed by her husband Ronald; her mother Gladys; her stepmother Eva; her children Terrie (Jason), Jason (Leca), and Tanya (Adam); grandchildren Sidney, Vince, Quentin, and Lilah; great granddaughter Ocean; brothers Ray (Marion); and Randy (Lorrie); and special sister in law Stephanie as well as many other relatives and friends.

Valerie was predeceased by her father Everett; stepfather Bobby; and her sister Judy.

Completed arrangements entrusted to Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800) will be announced at a later date.
