Cindy Douthwright

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Cindy Douthwright, 60, of Salisbury on May 20^th, 2026 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Dalhousie, NB she was a daughter to the late Reginald & Loretta (Elsigar) Firlotte.

Cindy spent her free time socializing with a few close friends. She loved going out to dinner and relaxing at home by a roaring bonfire. In the later years she loved creating diamond paintings.

Cindy lived for her family. Her grandsons were her pride and joy. She would speak highly of them to anyone that listened to her.

The family would like to thank Barb and Melissa from Extra Mural, and all the staff from Integrity for all their help and support. A very special thank you to Violet for going above and beyond for Cindy. Her true friendship was extraordinary and genuine.

Cindy is survived and sadly missed by her daughter, Victoria (Andrew) Firlotte; her grandchildren, Cole & Dylan; her siblings: Daryl (Heide), Jerry (Lise), Stephen (Sharon), Peggy (Pat) and Ross (Francine).

Besides her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Douthwright.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where a visitation will be held on June 5^th, 2026 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.

If desired, donations made to the Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
