Ellen Keith

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ellen Marie Keith at the Sussex Kiwanis Nursing Home on May 19, 2026, at the age of 54.

Born September 9, 1971 in Saint John, Ellen was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie (Cruickshank) Keith. She grew up in Quispamsis and later moved to Lower Butternut Ridge. Ellen graduated from Kennebecasis Valley High School in 1992.

Ellen was a special person who loved life despite what it threw her way. She loved to bowl, swim, colour, and tell jokes – she had a great sense of humour. She also loved her dill pickle chips and had to have ketchup on everything!

Ellen is survived by her brother, Calvin (Jeannie), brother-in-law Perry Thorbourne, nephews Justin, Damien, David, Aaron, and Tristan, nieces Lisa, Erica and Michelle and several great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Ellen was predeceased by her brother Jim Keith and sister Delores Thorbourne.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Kiwanis Nursing Home for their compassionate care provided to Ellen during her stay. They made Elly-Belly smile and laugh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
