Reid Lewis
1954-2026
Reid Thomas Lewis, 72, of Monteagle passed away peacefully May 11, 2026 at the Albert House Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. A son of the late Freeman and Stella (Dobson) Lewis he was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been predeceased by his brother, Orval and an infant sister.
Reid was a wonderful cook and vendor at the Moncton Market with his mother for many years. Reid loved music and movies as is witnessed in both of his collections. He will be missed by his extended family and friends in Monteagle and former customers at the market.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, (506 372 4800), from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th at 11:00am from the Second North River Baptist Church, which he was a member of. Interment will take place at the Monteagle Cemetery following the service.
