Denyse Lalonde

Denyse Jacynthe Lalonde, 66, of Sussex passed away peacefully with her beloved spouse, Kim Leaman by her side at the Sussex Health Center on Thursday April 23, 2026.

Born in Fournier, Ontario she was a daughter of Raymonde and the late Raymond Lalonde.

Denyse is survived and sadly missed by her spouse, Kim Leaman; her mother, Raymonde Lalonde; sister, Suzanne Lalonde (Michel Lalonde); brother, Michel Lalonde (Yan Ping Cui); nephews, Jean-Daniel Lalonde (Gillian Wright), Pierre-Luc Lalonde (Nathalie Schepens) and many cousins and friends.

Denyse is predeceased by her father, Raymond Lalonde and her niece, Gabrielle Lalonde.

Denyse was devoted to her dear mother, calling her delightedly several times a day, bringing joy to both of them, often laughing uncontrollably for minutes at a time. It will be among my fondest memories.

She was the love of my life, and the twenty two years we spent together went all too quickly. She cared deeply for people, animals and flowers. "Be kind to the pet population", was her constant refrain. How sweet is that?

Arrangements are in the care of the Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium.
