Jennifer Kay

1976-2026

Jennifer Kay

After a brief but brave battle with cancer, Jennifer Jane Kay of Salisbury NB passed away with her family by her side on April 25th, 2026.

Born on July 19th 1976 in Moncton NB, Jennifer used her life to serve others. A personal care worker by trade, she cared not only for her clients, but for her friends and family in their most vulnerable moments. Jenn’s calling in life was to care for those around her, and her greatest joy was in working with her two grandsons.

Jenn enjoyed getting together with friends for game days, loved side-by-side dates with her husband, and had frequent girl’s days with her sister and granddaughter.

Jenn is survived by her loving husband, Tony Kay; son, Nathan Daigle (Sonja); her sister and best friend, Charlene Casey-Lavoie (Jason); granddaughter, Ariella (Abbie); grandsons, Able and Kane (Nathan); her father in-law, Kingsley Kay; her surviving family extends beyond this to many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition, Jenn has a special group of friends who she has long considered her chosen family. We would like to send a special "we love you" to those friends affectionately named "The Troops".

Jenn was preceded by her beloved father, John "Stephen" Casey; grandmother, Joyce Casey and her mother in-law, Sharon Kay.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday May 2, 2026 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Salisbury Fire Department.

The family also wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the special souls working the oncology, ICU, and palliative units of the Moncton Hospital. Their care and comfort during this difficult time will never be forgotten.
