Guy Dunfield

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Guy Dunfield, 91, on December 30th, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born in Corn Hill, he was a son to the late Ora & Bertha (Harper) Dunfield.

Guy is survived and sadly missed by his wife, Betty Dunfield; his daughters, Joan Millican (Chris) and Nancy Dunfield; his grandchildren: Jenna (James), Amy (Jacob), Ian (Zahra) and Jake (Selena); his brother, Vaughan Dunfield; his brothers in-law, Tennesea Schwetz and Paul Beaman as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Guy was predeceased by his daughter, Heather Dunfield; his siblings: Sara Lounsbury, Irene Schwetz, Everett Dunfield and Helen Beaman.

Born in Corn Hill, he lived there his whole life. He had many jobs during his life but always considered himself a farmer. He loved his family and friends and made new friends wherever he went. He always appreciated a visit and had a cup of tea ready. Grampy Guy could fix anything, and he usually did. We will miss him.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff and nurses at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home for their care during this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where a funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan 4, 2025 at 2:00pm. A time of visiting and reception will be held after the service. All are welcome.

If desired, donations made to the Corn Hill Baptist Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
