John Valley "Buffer"

John Gilbert Valley "Buffer", born on October 6, 1945, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025 at the age of 80.

John is survived by his loving children: Rhonda (Johnathan), Marsha (Sebastien) and John (Sarah); the mother of his children, Jane Hussey; his cherished grandchildren: Austin, Nathan, Makayla, Maxim and Chloe; his great-grandchild, Cedric, who brought him much joy; his siblings: Donnie (Maureen), Dale, John, Joan (Yvon), Margie (Paul) and Elizabeth (Maurice).

John was preceded in death by his parents, Ovila Valley & Violet (Pyke) Gosnell and his two brothers, Kenny and Art.

John loved spending time with his beloved dogs, Bandit and Cooper and truly loved the outdoors. He found peace in nature and comfort in the companionship of those closest to him.

John will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence and devotion to his family. His memory will live on through the love he shared and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his great friends, Yvonne and Wayne for their kindness, support and all they did for John.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. All arrangements at this time are being held privately.
