Hazel Wheaton

It is with sadness that the family of Hazel Ina Wheaton announces her passing at the Silver Fox Estates in Salisbury with her family by her side. Nan was 100 years of age. Born in Woodhurst, NB on Dec 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ada May (Card) & Percy Avard Kaye.

Nan will be fondly remembered by her children, Mary Vick and Kenneth (Vivian) Wheaton; her family included special grandson, Rodney (Sheila) Wheaton and special great grandson, William Robert Wheaton (Marie Eve Daigle). She will be remembered by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend, Debbie MacDonald; her brother, Robert Kaye and sister, Ruth Hughes. Hazel was active in many groups and leaves behind many friends and acquaintances.

Besides her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Fraser Wheaton; her sons, Percy & Dennis; her brothers: Aura, Arnold, Russell, Garfield and Wallace Kaye.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where a Celebration of Hazel’s life will be held on Saturday, December 27^th, 2025 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pam and staff at the Silver Fox Estates for their care of Hazel.
