Juliette Crosby
1940-2025
Our beloved mother, Juliette Marie Crosby (nee Dugas) has moved on to her heavenly home. She was born and grew up on beautiful St. Mary’s Bay in the Acadian Region of Nova Scotia with her parents, Gustave & Madeleine (Comeau) and her cousins, Walter and Doreen Comeau, who were like siblings to her. In her adult life she was blessed with step-father, Phillip Comeau.
Mom was a caring, compassionate and generous Christian lady who chose to share her gifts in her 39 year career as a nurse. She worked in hospitals in Nova Scotia and in senior care in New Brunswick, retiring from the Jordan Life Care Center.
She was a wonderful caregiver in her personal life as well, from people (she was a walking first-aid kit) to animals (especially cats) and plants (she had a tremendously green thumb). She also loved serving her community through the Havelock Women’s Institute and CenterPoint Wesleyan Church in various ministries.
Mom loved God, her family & friends, traveling, especially "down home" in N.S., shopping, music and everything that summer had to offer (sun, heat, beach, berries, flowers).
Her daughters, Michelle Marr-Gilmore (Jim), Lisa Roberts (Robert) and her grandchildren, Ken Marr (Shannon), Kaitlyn Kiley (Kameron) & Baby Kooper, Allysa Roberts (Chris), Elise Oakley (Kirk) & Baby Oakley, Tyler Gilmore and Katie Gilmore, as well as her first husband, Eugene Crosby (Elizabeth) grieve her passing but rejoice in her life.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law , Steven Marr and husband, Doug Williamson.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at The Grass Home 774 who cared for mom so lovingly.
