Eileen Blakney

Mary Eileen Elizabeth Blakney, 91 of the Jordan LifeCare Centre and formerly of Petitcodiac passed away Monday, January 06, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Intervale, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Araminta (Ayer) Morton. Eileen worked for Canada Post for thirty-five years. She was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, Women’s Missionary and seniors groups and participated in small groups.

Eileen is survived by two special cousins Rick Morton (Diane) and Miriam McArdle (Bob); brother-in-law Roy Blakney (Sue) and sister-in-law Mary Churchill (Paul). Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Robert Blakney and second husband Angus McKnight and her brother Stewart "Mac" Morton (Linda).

Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800) with visiting Thursday, January 9 at 11 am until time of service at 12 noon with Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment in Goshen Cemetery at a later date.
