Linda Constantine
1947-2024
It is with deep sadness that the family of Linda Constantine announces her sudden passing on December 14, 2024, at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Moncton, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Neil and Helen (Dobson) Colborne.
Linda’s greatest passion in life was bringing her loved ones together. Whether hosting a gathering or lending a helping hand, she had a remarkable ability to unite those around her. Her positive, upbeat spirit and boundless energy were nothing short of inspiring, making her truly unforgettable.
Her passing during the holiday season is both sorrowful and poignantly fitting, as no one embodied the magic of this time of year more than Linda. She poured love and meticulous care into every detail, ensuring each celebration was memorable. However, her heart belonged to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Linda beamed with pride at every mention of their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them.
Linda will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Edwin Constantine, and her children: Rick MacLeod (Penny), Travis MacLeod, Fabian MacLeod (Susan), Chris Constantine (Cortney), and Tanya Brown (Jason). She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Connie Keating (Rick), as well as her treasured grandchildren: Cameron, Alexandria, Christian, Jessie, Daniel, Tabitha, Roxanne, Tyson, Paityn, Markus, Lucas, Tyler, Halle, and John. Her legacy of love extends to her great-grandchildren: Dalton, Emersyn, Kye Cooper, Harlin, and Lincoln.
Linda is mourned by her siblings, Lorne Colborne (Debbie), Dorothy Colborne, and Sharon Smith (Mike), along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Hazel Munroe and Janet Arsenault, and her brother Gerald Colborne.
Linda’s impact on her family and friends was profound, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Linda’s love, strength, and joy for life will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
