Brenda Wood

Brenda Anne Wood, 75, of Petitcodiac passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Forest Dale Nursing Home.

Born in Petitcodiac, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Florence (Lounsbury) Steeves. Brenda had worked as a Caregiver and Personal Support Worker. She was an avid award winning quilter; she enjoyed camping, playing cards and most of all Brenda loved time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived and sadly missed by her children Gayle O’Donnell (Scott) and Terry Wilson; grandchildren Jimmy O’Donnell (Jessica), Robbie O’Donnell and Rachel O’Donnell; great grandchildren Emma and James; sister Martha Carson (late Arthur); sister-in-law Jennie Steeves and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Brenda was predeceased by her husband Ronald Wilson and Carl Wood; sisters Ruth Alward, Edna Damon, and Donna Carson; brothers Dean and Chester Steeves.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). A private family service will be held at a later date.
