Colin McCrea

Colin Foster McCrea, 66 of Elgin passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Bathurst, he was a son of the late Milton and Frances Tilbert (McCrea). Although Colin was born in Bathurst he lived most of his life in Ontario. Colin was a kind hearted man who only made friends; no one could dislike this man. He always warmed you with his smile and his friendship – no matter what. He loved his boat and boating, and the fishing that came along with it. He was a self-taught master with his hands and could build you anything and everything. He will be missed by all. He loved his friends and family and all the fun that could be had.

He is survived by his sisters Marion McCrea, Grace McCrea and Elizabeth Carty (Jason); his brother Hazen McCrea (Karen) and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Colin was predeceased by his sister Sharon McCrea.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). All arrangements at this time are being held privately.
