Natasha E Keith, 45, of McKees Mills, formerly of Havelock (Powell Hill), wife of Christopher Carter and daughter of Elizabeth (Betty)(Harvey) and the late Martin Keith passed away at the George Dumont Hospital after a lengthy and courageous journey with cancer on Wednesday October 30, 2024.
Tasha was the light of the room who was the first person to lend a hand or brighten your day. She was the number one cheerleader auntie to all of her nephews and nieces no matter what they were doing. Long-time RBC employee at the Moncton Call Center. She was a big advocate of volunteering for her community and many different causes. She was a longtime volunteer on the Havelock Homecoming Committee, various charities through RBC, The McKees Mills 4H Club, as well as helping to organize many Keith, Harvey and Carter Family reunions. She was also an avid racer completing a marathon in Maine and many other races in the Maritimes. She even participated in a race on a trip to Iceland.
Tasha was also very talented at whatever she put her mind to and she succeeded in whatever did. An avid crafter, she knit, crocheted, rug hooked, cross stitch, felted, home renovations, baking and the list would go on. She shared these passions with her family and the kids she worked with as a 4H craft leader. Many of her creations she exhibited at The Kent County Fair winning many red ribbons. Another unexpected passion was for farming. After marrying her farmer husband she jumped into the farm life with full force. She, Chris and their nephew Mac operated their own Hobby Farm C Squared Ranch. Raising beautiful Hereford cattle and showing them at various exhibition but especially the Kent County Agricultural Fair and NB Beef Expo. Tasha who had never handled a cow before wanted to learn and take part in all aspects of the farm and did. She was so proud of herself showing her heifer Karen on her own. She also loved when the new calves were born and naming them and watching them grow. She also had an enormous heart for animals of all kinds. She loved her fur babies Dorey, Lily at her mom’s and her pride and joys Murphy and Elenor at home.
Tasha is survived by her loving husband, Chris; mother Betty; brother, Marty (Kelly) Keith, nephews, Gabe, Thatcher and nieces, Madalyn and Brynn, all of Petitcodiac.
