Donna Colpitts

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Donna Colpitts, 78, of Colpitts Settlement on October 15, 2024. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (Bleakney) Carr.

Donna is survived by her children Darrin (Lisa), Vicky (Derrick), Aricka (Roger), Jodi (Darren) and Travis; her grandchildren Danielle, Alexandria, Taylor, Vanessa, Hayden, Jacob, Noah, Savanah, Jaxen, and Chase and great grandchildren Chatham and Tilly.

Donna was predeceased by her husband Roy and her grandson Brody.

Mom always put her children first. Whether it be the wonderful Christmas’ with all the presents under the tree or getting new clothing for school.  She made sure we all had everything we needed.

Mom’s love for animals was widely known.  She would take any cat or dog into our house and call them her own. God forbid she caught someone abusing an animal!!

Donna was involved in the Moncton Fur and Feather Club. Her and Dad loved going to the shows talking to her club friends and hopefully winning a trophy or plaque.  She also involved her four oldest grandchildren with the club. They enjoyed it as much as their grandparents did.

There will be no more calls looking for recipes or questions about long lost relatives. 

You’re at peace now, say "Hi" to Dad and Brody for us all.

There will be a private service held at a later date.

If desired, Mom would have loved donations made to PAWS (SPCA) animal shelter, Abandoned Cat Rescue or Carma Cat Rescue or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
