Robert Crandall

Robert Earl Crandall, 94 of Salisbury and recently the Jordan LifeCare Centre, passed away peacefully Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Mapleton, Elgin, he was a son of the late William and Annie Emma (Lane) Crandall. Bob was a farmer and he also worked at the Co-op Feed Mill until retirement. He was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church, he enjoyed attending auctions and loved time spent with his family.

He is survived and sadly missed by his daughters Frances Marshall (Frank), Sharon Pitre (Daniel), Sandra Babineau (Paul) and Jennifer Goguen (Jeff); sons Daniel "Danny" (Kim), William "Billy" (Annette), Merle "Joe" and Stephen (Donna); twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife Sibyl Louise Crandall; son Ivan; grandson Derek; brother Wayne Crandall and sisters Elaine Steeves and Louise McIntyre.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Sunday, August 11 from 6 pm – 8 pm. The funeral will be held at the Salisbury Baptist Church Monday, August 12 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson officiating. Interment in Parkindale Cemetery.

If desired, donations in memory of Bob to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Jordan LifeCare Centre would be appreciated by the family.
