Barbara Harper

Barbara Ellen Harper, 89, of Anagance passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Prosser Brook, she was a daughter of the late Hughie and Adelia (Prosser) Hayward. She was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. and a member of the former Anagance United Church. Barbara enjoyed quilting, knitting, search word puzzles and camping.

She is survived by her son Allen Harper, Langley, B.C.; daughter Sheila Belding (Vernon), Anagance; grandchildren Michael Belding (Rebecca), Colton Belding (Sydney), Shannon Belding (Marcus) and Brandon Harper (Julia), Lisa, Matthew, Kate Harper (Sean) and Jamie Harper; great grandchildren Mamadou, Anderson, Blake, Peyton, Jack and Evan; sister Jane Carter (Wayne) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Earle William Harper (2000) and her sister Donna Van Buskirk.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Sunday, August 11 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral will be held in the chapel Monday, August 12 at 11 am with Pastor Mackenzie Hiltz officiating. Interment in the Anagance Cemetery.
