Betty Melvin

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Betty Lou Melvin, 73, at the Moncton Hospital on June 29, 2024. Born in Havelock, she was a daughter to the late Gerald & Myrtle (Killam) Melvin.

Betty has been living at the Grass Home since 1998, they were like a second family to her. She enjoyed company, friends and Tim Horton’s coffee as much as she could.

Betty is survived and sadly missed by her sisters: Alice Jones, Julia Steeves (Greg) and Cora Melvin; her brothers: Byron Melvin, Morgan Melvin, Gerald Melvin, Keith Melvin (Wanda) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Wayne Melvin, David Melvin and her infant sister, Mary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 4^th at 11:00am. Interment will take place in the Green Hill Cemetery at a later date.
