Maggie Corey

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Maggie Corey, 21, of Dobson Corner on June 10, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Moncton on September 13, 2002, she is the daughter to Vincent & Julietta (Atkins) Corey.

Maggie was a very special young lady, she was sweet, kind, loving and cared for so many. She loved to read and spend time with her family and friends. When she was able, Maggie volunteered as much as she could. She organized toy drives for the IWK at Christmas time every year since 2012, she also organized a DVD movie drive for the IWK in 2012 and had over 250 DVD’s donated. Helping children was her passion. Maggie was very strong in her faith, as long as she was able she attended the Centerpoint Wesleyan Church and helped out with the Kid’s Club. As the time came for her to be with her Heavenly Father, she said, "I’m so excited."

Maggie is survived also by her sister, Tiffany Finck (Jerika); her brother, Jacob Corey; her niece, Skylar Finck as well as so many friends and extended family.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Aunt Donna, Aunt Sandra, Uncle Mike, Dr. Nayak, Dr. Ironside, Palliative Care Dr. Syril,  Extra Mural Nurses especially Nadine and many more who cared for Maggie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12^th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A Funeral Service Celebrating Maggie’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 13^th at 2:30pm at the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel. To those attending, Maggie’s wish was for everyone to try and wear pink. Interment will be held following the service in the First North River Cemetery. A reception will take place following the interment at the Centerpoint Wesleyan Church.
