Veta Cosman

Veta Kathleen (Carson) Cosman, 91, born May 31, 1932, of Havelock went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 16, 2024 with her family by her side at the Jordan LifeCare Centre.

Veta was a member of the Havelock Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading and time spent with her family.

Veta was the daughter to the late Lloyd and Maude (Thorne) Carson and is survived by her 7 children: Diane (Gordon) Bannister, Janet (Walter) Taylor, Catherine (Carl) Kelly, Alanna (Douglas) Lounsbury, Graham (Kelly) Cosman, Shelley (Philip) Thorne and Lori (Kevin) Perry; her sister, Joy (Albert) Keating; her sisters in-law, Ernestine Delong and Darlene Carson; her 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Veta was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Roy and her brothers: Lester, Harold, Ronald and Royden Carson.

The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Betty Keith, who helped care for Mom with their daughter and to Dr. R. Morton and the staff at the Jordan LifeCare Centre who took loving care of her.

Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800, visitation will be held on Monday, April 22nd at 1:00 pm until time of the Funeral at 2:00 pm with Rev. Glen McVicar and Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment will take place at the Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery.

If desired, donations made to the Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery, Jordan LifeCare Centre or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family.
