Reece Dunfield
1930-2024
Reece A. Dunfield, 93, a lifelong resident of Corn Hill passed away peacefully April 12, 2024 at the Jordan LifeCare Center.
Born in Corn Hill, he was a son of the late Ralph and Lucy (Thorne) Dunfield. Reece was a member of the Corn Hill United Baptist Church.
He is survived and missed by his children Elizabeth Mills (Allen), Arland (Cathy) and Kevin (Donna) all of Corn Hill; grandchildren David Mills (Erica), Susan McCully (Jeremy), Sarah Carson (Tim), Brent Dunfield (Lisa), Brian Dunfield (Zoe), Karla Keith (Corey), and Kelly Dunfield (Dan Bustin); great grandchildren Avelyn Mills, Heather, Meaghan and Gregory McCully, Emmalin, Hudson and Lauren Carson, Alicen and Carter Keith, Abigail, Caroline and Preston Bustin, Keith Dunfield and Cora Dunfield; sister Marjorie MacLaren and brother Kenneth Dunfield and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Marilyn (Lewis).
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800), visiting will be Monday, April 15 from 6-8 p.m. and from where the funeral will be Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lee Mitton officiating. Interment at the Corn Hill Baptist Cemetery.
