Wayne Pallen

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Wayne Pallen on March 12^th at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Newcastle on April 5, 1945 he was a son to the late Nicholas & Sarah (Gahan) Pallen.

Wayne enjoyed renovating homes and repairing anything that was broken. In retirement he enjoyed road trips with Karen, traveling to all his grandson’s hockey games and spending time with friends and family.

Wayne is survived and sadly missed by his daughters, Wanda Trenholm (Doug) and Wendy Pallen (Steve); his son, Darren (Shane); grandchildren: Jason, Jacob, Tara, Nick, Tim, Derek and Ryan; his several great grandchildren; his special friend, Karen Fitzsimmons; his longtime friend, Ron Mitton; his sister, Marjorie Ryan as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas and his sisters: Carmel Cormier, Mary Barnaby and Ann Legresley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium 506-372-4800. A Family graveside service will be held at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Miramichi at a later date.
