Alice Young

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mom, Alice Mae Young at the Jordan LifeCare Centre on January 22, 2024. Born on November 5, 1944, she was a daughter to the late Walter & Marie (Robb) Harper.

For many years, Alice was a homemaker who went to work after the children were grown and spent many years working at Kent Building Supplies before retiring. She was an active member of Hillgrove Baptist Church until her health no longer allowed her.

Alice is survived and sadly missed by her children: Rodney (Marissa), Robert, Tamara (Wayne) and Amanda (Dan); her grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; her brother, Aubrey; her sisters in law: Bertha, Beverley and Carolyn; her brother in law, Fred Lewis as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by her husband, Nelson; her brothers, Walter and Edward; her sister, Elizabeth; her brother in law, Chester and sister in law, Beatrice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800, from where visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25^th at 2:00pm until 6:00pm. A funeral service will be held the following day, January 26^th from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30am.

If desired donations made to Juvenile Diabetes Association, Alzheimers Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
