James (Jim) White
1943-2024
James (Jim) Francis White, 80, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at home with his wife at his side.
Born February 28, 1943 he was a son of the late Francis and Mary (Campbell) White. A career Navy Man he retired after 34 years from the Naval Communication Research Center. Jim was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs Fan and for many years enjoyed hooking rugs. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 31, Salisbury.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 53 years Edie (MacDonald); children Bradley (Kasia) of Ottawa, Judianne Klimuk (Dan) of Katy, Texas; a cherished granddaughter Olivia Klimuk; sister Kathleen Davis (Jerome); brothers Sheldon (Gloria), Adrian (Marilyn), Gerard (Dianne), Robert (Debbie) and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant daughter Marilyn and brother Jack.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Salisbury Funeral Home (506)372-4800. A gathering to celebrate Jim's life will take place at a later date with interment at Pinehill Cemetery.
