Beatrice (Bea) Killam
1928-2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grammie and Great Grammie, Beatrice Janet Killam, 95 on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.
Formally of Petitcodiac, Salisbury and Grass Nursing Home, Riverview. Bea worked at K-Mart in her early working years, cooked for several restaurants and she was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church.
She passed on her zest for life to all that knew her. She leaves behind to mourn her daughters and their families, Diana McKnight (Gary), Audrey Perry (Peter), Patricia Colpitts (Gerald Brideau), Marie Carson (Bradley); 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren, 2 step-great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Glenna Burgess and several nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Clara (Campbell) Burgess; husband Arnold and siblings Myrtle Colburn, Etta Lounsbury, Francis Burgess, Edith Ricker, Ada Burgess, Richard Burgess and Henry Burgess.
Her greatest joy was with her family and friends. Bea was an avid card and game player, and a lover of all outside activities. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Her coat was always ready to go, no matter where you were going or what you were doing….and her age was just a number!!
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Tuesday, November 14 from 6 pm - 8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 15 at 1 pm with Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
If desired, donations in memory of Bea to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
