Kenneth Carty

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Carty, aged 79 of Elgin on Sunday, November 5th. Ken passed away at home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Elgin on December 3rd, 1943, he was the son of the late Norman and Margaret (Taylor) Carty.

He is survived by his wife Donna of 56 years and his two children, Patrick (Sonya) of Moncton and Christine of Elgin. Beloved grandfather to Jesse Carty of Elgin, Jared (Alexis) Beaman of River Glade and Jenna (Drew) Wark of Sussex and great grandfather to Claire, Grace, Oliver, Nevaeh, Abel, Ella and Lilly. Also survived by his sisters, Anna Carty of Salisbury, Linda Carty (Keith) of Elgin, Mary Morrissey (Arnold) of Riverside, Nora Carty of Moncton, Susan Briand (Paul) of Elgin, Karen Carty of Petitcodiac and Janet Steeves (Len) of Moncton and his brothers, Walter (Charlene) of Salisbury, Frank (Valerie) of Elgin, John (Brenda) of Elgin, Michael (Patricia) of Salisbury and Mark along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas, infant siblings Arnold and Theresa and his beloved granddaughter Lacey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800), from where a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 9^th at 11:00am with a time of visiting and refreshments to follow.
