Marion Murphy
1935-2023
Marion Phyllis Murphy, 88 of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Forest Dale Home Inc., Riverside-Albert.
Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late James and Hazel (Sears) Ogilvie. Marion worked as a clerk for CNR until her retirement. She was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Salisbury Branch 31, the Monday Morning Merry Makers and the Salisbury Golden Age Club.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Murphy; brothers Leonard, Vaughn, Ronald and Floyd Ogilvie and sister Inez O'Blenis.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Thursday, November 2 from 12:30 until time of the service at 1:30 pm with Rev. Bill Parks officiating. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
