Sheila Greer

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Sheila Greer, 66, of The Glades at the Moncton City Hospital on October 14^th, 2023. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter to the late Gordon & Myrna (Perry) Hicks.

Sheila is survived and sadly missed by her husband, Donald Greer; her daughter, Sarah (Chancy) Taylor; her son, Shawn (Tina) Greer; her granddaughters, Cassandra and Breena; her siblings: Sandra Hicks, Karen Carson (late Earl), Kevin Hicks (Sherri), Carol Alward (Lloyd), Boyd Hicks (Esther), Brenda Hicks (Austin), Dana Hicks (Shelley), Lois Brewer (Derek), Stanley Hicks (Shelley), Graham Hicks, Susan Hicks and Shelley Arsenault (Tyler) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sheila was predeceased by her brothers, Lyle Hicks and Rodney Hicks as well as her sister’s in-law, Pat and Mable.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18^th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service celebrating Sheila’s life will be held on Thursday, October 19^th from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm.

If desired, donations made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
