Otto Marshall

 Otto Alfonso Marshall, celebrated his 100th birthday earlier this year, of Silver Fox Home, Salisbury and formerly of Elgin passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at the home.

  Born in Gowland Mountain, he was a son of the late Blake and Wilda (Harrison) Marshall and husband of the late Betty (Horsman).

  Otto retired from DOT in Elgin and was a member of the First Elgin Baptist Church. He enjoyed going on country drives, bowling, preparing winter wood and reminiscing about the good ole days and work horses. He was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.

  He is survived and sadly missed by his sons Frank Marshall (Frances) and Robert Marshall (Marie); grandchildren Shawn Marshall (Keli) and Amanda McDonald (Nathan); step-grandchildren Jennifer Lirette, Jessica Hovey (Al), Laura Lirette, Richard Sellers and Robert Sellers (Ginette) and several great grandchildren;  his beloved sister Alma Steeves (late Vernon); sisters-in-law Elsie and Judy; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers James, Arthur, Cecil, Guy, Harry and Perley and sister Edna Lewis.

  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Monday, October 16 from 6 pm - 8 pm. A funeral service celebrating Otto's life will be held in the chapel Tuesday, October 17, 1 pm with Pastor Mackenzie Hiltz officiating. Interment at New Elgin Cemetery.
