Ronald Hartley Carson, 85 of Colpitts Settlement passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Salem, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Maude (Thorne) Carson. Ron drove school bus until his retirement and early on worked at Eastern Provincial Airways in Moncton. He was a former member of the Salisbury Lions Club and a founding member of the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department. Ron enjoyed hunting, delivering his firewood and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife of nearly 67 years Darlene Marie (Corey); sons Bruce (Donna) and Bradley (Marie); grandchildren Shaunda (Jerry), Matthew, Drew (Joanie), Josh, Adam (Bryanne) and Brandon (Jenny-Lise); great grandchildren Alexia, Logan, Robert, Alex, Hunter, Karlee, Willow, Liam, Dallas and Jackson; sisters Joy Keating (Albert) and Veta Cosman (late Roy) and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Lester (Else), Harold (Jean), Royden (Ann)(first wife Grace) and several nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800) with a graveside service at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Monday, September 25 at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Bill Parks.
