Robert "Bob" Tait
1941-2023


On September 1, 2023 Robert (Bob) R. Tait passed away peacefully from McNair Manor in Riverview. We rejoice that he is with the Father because of his faith in Jesus Christ. John 6:40 "and this is the will of him who sent me that everyone who sees the son and believes in him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. "
Bob leaves us during his most favourite time of year. Bob is survived by his loving wife, of just short of 60 years Alta (Black) Tait from Sussex. He’s also survived by his children Tanya (Mike) Magee, Sonya (Chris) Ducey, Trent Tait, Travis (Heather) Tait. Bob was most loved grandfather to Alicia (Adrian) Ring, Joshua (Karaleigh) Ducey, Zachary (Candace) Ducey, Erin (J.T) Magee, Hannah Magee (Pat McIsaac), Katrina Tait, Isaac and Isabel Ducey, Jack, Noah, and Ella Tait. Also survived by his Greats, Aubrey, Georgia, Abel, Anneke, Iris, Adalyn, Wyatt, and Tate. Bob leaves his brother Harrison (Anne) Tait, and sister-in-law, Joan Tait.
We with Gwendolyn (Harley) Keith, Marie (Walton) Keith, Bea (Cliff) Scribner, Clara (Ron) Boyd, and many nieces and nephews rejoice that Bob is free of Alzheimer’s.
He is predeceased by his parents, Harrison D and Marion (O’Brian) Tait; his brothers, Gerald, and Ron Tait, his sister, Isabel (Reg) Steeves; granddaughter, Melissa Ducey, as well as his mother and father-in-law Vaughan and Amy (Paterson) Black as well as many sisters and brothers-in-laws.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, 506-372-4800 with visitation on Sunday, September 10 from 2 to 6 PM and where the funeral service will be held Monday, September 11 at 1 PM.
For those who wish to donate in Bob’s memory, they can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or plant a tree in memory of Bob.
