Norma Wilson

  Norma Eva Wilson, 80 of The Glades passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre.

  Born in The Glades, she was a daughter of the late Warnock and Charlotte (Parsons) Steeves.  Norma enjoyed playing games, quilting and cooking, she was famous for her donuts, cinnamon rolls and peanut butter balls and she loved entertaining family and friends at their home.

  She is survived and sadly missed by her husband Robert; children Ginger Leaman (Anthony) of Ferndale, Lisa Mitton (James) of Meadow, Colleen Skinner (Paul) of Deer Lake, NL and Robert (Bob) Wilson (Kathy) of Colpitts Settlement; brothers and sisters Marion Mitton, Armour Steeves (Kathy), Sharon Perry (Jim), Donald Steeves (Wanda) and Reg Steeves (Kathy); grandchildren Tasha, Corey, Kyle, Logan, Russell, Matthew, Roland, Zachary, Isaac, Amanda, Brittany, Devon, Patrick, and Warnock; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Norma was predeceased by her eldest son Blaine.

  Family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506)372-4800 on Tuesday, July 25 from 6 - 8 pm. All are welcome to attend a graveside service Wednesday, July 26, 11 am at the Wilson Cemetery, Little River. A reception will follow at the home of Lisa and James Mitton, 5 Meadow Rd, Elgin.
