Wayne Melvin

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Wayne G. Melvin, 77, on June 19, 2023 at the Jordan Lifecare Centre. Born in Moncton, he was a son to the late Gerald & Myrtle (Killam) Melvin.

Wayne worked as a barber for 30 plus years, he enjoyed watching sports and especially loved the Toronto Blue Jays.

Wayne is survived and sadly missed by his sisters: Alice Jones (late Gary) of Salisbury, Betty Melvin of Riverview, Julia Steeves (Greg) of Petitcodiac and Cora Melvin of Petitcodiac; his brothers: Byron Melvin of the Glades, Morgan Melvin of Havelock, Gerald Melvin of Toronto and Keith Melvin (Wanda) of Petitcodiac as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brother, David and his infant sister, Mary Ellen.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the Jordan Lifecare Centre.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800, from where a funeral celebrating Wayne’s life will be held on Saturday, June 24^th at 1:00pm. All are welcome.
