Ann Dunham

1943-2023

Ann Dunham

Ann Winnifred Dunham of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia formerly of Havelock, New Brunswick passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Ann is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Gerald Dunham. Dear Mother to Timothy of Toronto, Sheena (Mark Hinton) of Carleton Place, Jeffery of London, and Susan Spilman (Christopher Spilman) of Hammonds Plains.

Ann was the cherished, devoted, and loving Baba to Ashlyn Graham (Sam Barnes) of Bodicote England, Anna Graham of Carleton Place, Caleb, Elyssa, Josie, and Cooper Spilman of Hammond Plains, Nova Scotia.  Ann adored her grandchildren and spent her time with them tramping through the woods, picking fiddleheads, making jam, hosting family parties, and sharing the adventures and escapades of her childhood much to their delight.
Ann was pre-deceased by her parents, Winston and Bernice Keith and her siblings Reginald, Ralph, and Pauline. Survived by her brothers: Malcolm (Shirley), Arthur (late Elsie), Connell, Robin (Denise) and her sister Eileen Nash. Ann was the daughter in law of the late Gerald and Frances Dunham and is survived by her sister-in-law Judy (John) Morton.

Ann was a compassionate caregiver her whole life through her career in nursing. She loved her gardens, quick long walks but she was most comfortable in her kitchen where she created her famous bread, pecan rolls and chocolate eclairs. She will be remembered for her loving support and guidance, selfless nature, laughing until she cried and her big, beautiful smile.

A Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Baba and soon to be Great-Baba. Our lives will forever be richer having known you.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury - Armstrong's Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. All arrangements for Ann at this time are being held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.keirsteads.ca
